A statue of the former world champion boxer, Rinty Monaghan, has been unveiled. Monaghan was the first boxer from Belfast to win a world title, becoming flyweight champion in 1948. The 10ft-high sculpture, cast in bronze, has been erected in Cathedral Gardens in the city centre, close to where he grew up. Natalie Lindo was there. | BBC Newsline
